A Word About Standards

All PDFs are PDF/A, an official standard.

Given that I can open and save the .xslx spreadsheet in LibreOffice with no loss of information, I regard that as a functionally open standard--but if necessaryI'll make an .odt version available. The troubles with .csv are that I can't couple the notes to the spreadsheet--and it's too easy to mangle Unicode in a .csv file.

(Trust me: I care about standards. I even wrote the book: Technical Standards: An Introduction for Librarians. (1986; second edition 1991. Long out of print.)
